Our Approach to Weight Loss Surgery
We do not have a cookie-cutter approach to surgical weight loss because each patient is different! At your first consultation you will sit down with each member of the team one-on-one and they will tell you the recommendations they have as far as steps you need to take to make sure you optimize your chances for success. You will be able to track your progress on our online patient portal.

The Lap Band® and REALIZE BAND® procedures are what we are nationally known for, however we offer both laparoscopic gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy as well.  The Lap Band has revolutionized surgical weight loss, however this procedure may not be right for everyone.  We have the experience necessary to recognize who is a good candidate and who is not.  As an informed patient, you need to be fully educated on ALL of your options, and the only way you can get unbiased information is by seeking out a comprehensive practice that can speak to more than one procedure.

The best thing to do if you want to proceed is to register for one of our free information sessions, where we will cover everything you need to know range from the procedures we offer, to insurance and financial info.  For patients from out of town, We can arrange a Wednesday morning seminar, followed by a consultation and psych eval in the same day so that you can minimize the number of trips you have to make (gas is expensive, we know!).  We also have a satellite office in Columbus, Ohio, for the convenience of our patients.
